On Sept. 23 and 24, Southwest Actors Conference & Expo, the premier conference in the Southwest region, debuts its inaugural event at Embassy Suites by Hilton Phoenix Scottsdale.

The conference, which is set to be an annual event, will provide professional actors access to knowledge and training provided by top industry experts and practitioners, allowing actors to make crucial connections and discover new opportunities to grow their acting careers.

The two-day event begins Friday, Sept. 23 with an actor and industry mixer from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. On Saturday Sept. 24 registration and networking begins at 7:30 a.m., followed by an opening session and keynote remarks from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and seminars in breakout rooms from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (with a lunch break from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.). The conference culminates with closing keynote speaker from 5 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
