Duet Offers Free Support Groups for Family Caregivers and Grandparents Raising Grandchildren in Phoenix
By Lindsay Hansen - Friday Jan 21, 2022
Are you caring for a loved one who requires round-the-clock attention? Is your own well-being suffering as you tend to the need of one who needs you? Do you feel overwhelmed, resentful, or alone in your obligation? Duet is offering family caregiver and grandfamily support groups to help.

“Attending a support group can make a big difference,” said Deanne Poulos, Caregiver Services, Duet. ”You will discover that you are not alone as you share camaraderie with others who ‘get it.’ You can express your frustrations in a safe space, without judgment. You will be guided to resources and learn coping strategies to bolster your resilience.”
Duet is offering in-person, as well as virtual options. All Duet support groups are free of charge. Social distancing and masks are required for in-person events.
